Trainees

Trainees are welcome to conduct their industry immersion as part of their required on-the-job (OJT) training. The training can be considred as a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) between the academe and the local government unit particularly with the ICTD team.

Through an executive order (EO) signed by former city mayor Hon. Adelbert W. Antonino in 1998, schools who intend to have their students trained locally need not required to create a memorandum of agreement (MOA). There are only three documents being required by the said EO, to wit: Letter of Intent or Request from the School Administrator, Bio-Data and Waiver signed by the student, guardian or parent and the school administrator. Upon complying with the requirement, trainees may start immersing with the office with mandates aligned with the student’s area of learning.

ICTD is active in partnering with NDDU, HTC, RMMC, STI and GensanTech.

Public-private partnership (PPP) is practiced by ICTD through the on-the-job students participation provided by different colleges and universities. The partnership is a two-way process. ICTD teaches the strategies. Students gain the knowledge and skills cascaded by the ICTD staff from system assessment, programming, debugging, testing to actual, implementation and training of end-users.
